Important notes

To ensure your hike is safe and enjoyable:

Be well-prepared: Use maps or GPS, check the weather, and bring suitable gear.
Consider the challenges: Steep ascents, narrow ridges, or exposed sections require surefootedness – for both you and your dog.
Bring enough water: Not all routes have natural water sources.
Respect wildlife: Marmots and other animals may trigger your dog’s hunting instinct. Keep your dog leashed where required.

Every hike is undertaken at your own risk. Conditions in the mountains can change quickly. An honest assessment of your and your dog’s abilities is essential.
